Evacuation Order Continues For Long Island, Harrison Lake Due To Wildfire

The Evacuation Order continues for Long Island in Harrison Lake (FVRD Electoral Area “C“) due to wildfire.
The Evacuation Order was delivered on August 5, 2021 and residents were asked to leave the island due to risk from the wildfire.
Boaters heading out on Harrison Lake are warned to not approach or visit the island at this time. This will allow fire fighting crews to have clear waterways to transport personnel and equipment for the fire fighting effort.
