Evacuation Order Partial Rescind: Chilliwack Lake Rd in Electoral Area E - Wilson Road

The Evacuation ORDER for Chilliwack Lake Road near Wilson Road in Electoral Area E issued on November 15, 2021, has been partially downgraded to an ALERT on select properties.

An engineering assessment has been completed for the Wilson Road Dike and areas protected by the dike to better understand the nature of the risk at this time. 

The existing Evacuation Order has been partially downgraded to an ALERT for several properties based on engineering findings.  Any noticeable change to the dike or river levels should be considered a risk to life and property.  Properties downgraded to alert may be required to evacuate if the risk increases.
