Evacuation Order Rescinded for Two Properties on Chilliwack Lake Road

Evacuation Order has been rescinded for 49269 & 49279 Chilliwack Lake Road in FVRD Electoral Area E.

The Fraser Valley Regional District has obtained a geotechnical assessment for the area, which notes life and safety concerns to the occupants of the properties. While the Evacuation ORDER is being cancelled, there is an ongoing risk of future landslide and land movement in the area. Property owners are encouraged to read the geotechnical assessment to understand the ongoing risk.
