Rainfall Expected - Be Prepared

The next storm system is set to arrive on the BC South Coast overnight Wednesday. This storm will be shorter lived and less intense than the previous event. However, it will still bring moderate to heavy rain and strong winds.

To get your home flood ready:

• Store valuables and important items or documents in water-tight containers or in high places, like on a tall shelf or upper floor.
• Clear gutters
• Keep nearby storm drains clear of debris
• Direct downspouts away from basements
