Preliminary results for the 2022 Local General Election are now available.

• Electoral Area C:  Mel Waardenburg
• Electoral Area D:  Bill Dickey (Acclaimed)
• Electoral Area E:  Patti MacAhonic (Acclaimed)
• Electoral Area F:  Hugh Davidson Acclaimed)
• Electoral Area G:  Cory Cassel
• Electoral Area H:  Taryn Dixon (Acclaimed)

The term of office for these positions is four years, commencing November 7, 2022.

The FVRD also ran elections for the following School District Trustee positions: 

School District #75:

• Rural Trustee Area:  Shelley Carter (Acclaimed)

School District #78

• Agassiz Harrison Trustee Area:  Wendy Clark, Andrea Hensen and Wendy Colman-Lawley
• Hope Trustee Area: Pattie Desjardins, Linda Kerr and Heather Stewin
• Canyon Trustee Area:  Cathy Speth (Acclaimed)

These preliminary results are based on the ballot accounts prepared at each of the voting places and are subject to the determination of official election results by the Chief Election Officer.
