FVRD 2025-2029 Financial Plan Public Survey Opportunity

Since June 2024, FVRD staff has been preparing the 2025 Financial Plan. September marks an important time in the process where electoral area residents are asked to share how they wish to receive information about the FVRD 2025-2029 Financial Plan. Between September 27 and October 18, 2024, we are launching an online survey to gather resident’s insight.
“Feedback from electoral area residents during the 2025 Financial Planning process is essential for ensuring everyone’s voice is heard,” said Jason Lum, FVRD Board Chair. “The Board and FVRD staff encourages electoral area residents to provide their insight on how they as residents wish to learn more about or participate in the 2025 Financial Plan,” he said.
Approximately 114 unique service areas, all with distinct purposes, unique tax bases, and specific revenues and expenses that cannot be shared with other service areas, are managed by the FVRD. The Financial Planning process is a lengthy process and the FVRD wants to ensure that check-in points are created along the way for residents. The online survey is the first opportunity for residents to participate.
